Researchers questioned parents of 193400 children in the age of
6-7 years and 304680 of children in the age of 13-14 years from 56
countries.

Scientists compared received data with results of a similar research, carried
out in 1991.
It was discovered that in most countries, including Republic of
South Africa, Brazil, Iran, Canada and Sweden, a marked growth of cases
of atopic dermatitis (eczema), nasal allergy and other allergic
diseases is noted. Quantity of children, suffering from exzema,
increased mostly in junior age group, and in both groups - quantity of
children with nasal allergy, as researchers inform.

Level of allergic diseases increased most of all in densely
populated countries, what can have serious after-effects for health
protection.
According to experts, totality of such factors, like air pollution,
diet, life style and bacterial infections in early children age is a
reason of growth of allergic diseases, and in some countries their
importance can differ.
