On May 11, the world`s first TV channel for babies started broadcasting.
Channel BabyFirstTV, which is oriented on babies in the age from 6
months to 3 years will broadcast twenty-four hours a day through
DirecTV telecommunication satellites and cablecasting.
Monthly fee will be 9,99 $ per month.
BabyFirstTV appearance caused rough disputes in American society.
This channel says their programs will help a baby developing. However, doctors
insist that effect will be negative.
According to doctors, in the age under 2 years babies are learning
speaking and communicating with coevals, and watching TV can lead to
delay of baby development.
2003 year`s research says that in USA 68% of babies under 2 years watch TV every
week, and 26% have TV in their room.
